  About BHUVANA

Dr. J. Bhuvana MCA., M.Phil., M.B.A., Ph.D obtained her BCA  and MCA degree from K.S.R college of Arts & Science, Tiruchengode and Ph.D(FT) from Bhrathiyar University, Coimbatore. She has 6 Years of experience in teaching, 2 Years of experience in software development and 6 Years in research. At presents she holds Associate Professor and Head in Department of MCA, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal. She has published 10 international and national journals & conferences and participate in more than 40 national and international seminars, workshops, FDPs. Her research interest is data mining and security issues.

Organized EVENTS

• Organized Five Spoken Tutorial Online workshops under IIT-Bombay project in the month of December 2013 and January 2014.
• Organized “Power Seminar on Entrepreneurship & Current need of Industry” for all final year students associate with ICTACT at Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal on 27.07.2013.
• Organized a National Conference on Information Computational Algorithms and their Applications (NCICAA 2012 & 2013) at Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal during the year February 2012 , March 2013 and March 2014.
• Organized One Day National level Seminar on Research Perspectives in Computer Science (RESPECS – 2011) at Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal on 17^th September 2011.
• Organized Four Days FDP partnership with NITTTR, Chennai at Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal on 2^nd to 4^th May, 2012.
• Organized one week vocational course training in the area of “ Mobile, laptop & Desktop service, Basic wiring & Winding” for Namakkal town people through SCT-EDC on Dec 2013.
• Organized two days “College Bazaar” event in Selvam College of Technology through EDC on 27 & 28 Feb 2014.
